Distributed Manufacturing – WMG

Intro

The Distributed Manufacturing tool follows on from the i4ready.co.uk and scdigitalreadiness.com websites. It is a micro site built on WordPress to collect information from companies and generate bespoke reports. It was created in partnership with WMG at the University of Warwick and The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). The focus of this tool is to help a company to benchmark themselves against the industry and see how effectively they are operated within a distributed manufacturing supply chain.

The website generates a personalised report for each company and gives the ability to download dynamic charts as images. Equally the report can be saved as a PDF for print or the web, and is adaptive to the individual company results. The data set as a whole is used to benchmark each company to give them individual insight in to their supply chain readiness.
