Newton Hall is a beautiful 16-century farmhouse situated on a family-run farm in Cheshire, which doubles up as a beautiful bed and breakfast. The team at Newton Hall approached us here at Coderra to build a website for them with a number of specifications – the key one being that it had to be a budget build, as the team were looking for the most cost-effective revamp possible.

Newton Hall already had a website in place – it simply needed a revamp in order to bring it up to date and ensure that it would attract new visitors. We set to work revamping the existing website with a very simple theme that would be easy to manage for the staff behind-the-scenes, and easy to navigate for the users hoping to secure a booking.

This project was made especially simple by the fact that Newton Hall utilises an external booking system. We were tasked with providing very visible links to this availability and booking management system, but our coders didn’t face the daunting task of creating one of these systems from scratch!

The end result of the website is very simple but effective – exactly what the Newton Hall team were seeking. With plenty of pages on the navigational bar at the top, the site is packed with information for future guests and potential visitors, and the staff can post updates and new details easily whenever they wish to with the simple WordPress CMS. Newton Hall’s charming bed and breakfast speaks for itself – there’s no need for a website with all the bells and whistles when you have a property this beautiful, in such an impressive location!
