Physio-Vet is a responsive bespoke website built on WordPress. The layouts follow modern design trends, spanning full width with contained content. We have used their brand colours effectively across the website, keeping the dominant colour as blue with splashes of gold. The website is built on the Bootstrap framework using Advanced Custom Fields to allow the client to manage it easily while keeping the layouts uniform.

The website homepage has a quick newsletter signup form that is hooked up to mailchimp so that anyone signing up is instantly added to a mailing list. They also run Woocommerce ecommerce system on the website which allows them to sell products to their customers. We are able to use this combination to add users to individual mailing lists in mailchimp based on what they purchase. At the moment they are selling a handful of products. but the system is very versatile and can handle subscriptions, bookings and much more.

The Physio-Vet homepage news is dynamic, automatically feeding through from the blog page to show the latest posts. We have also added in a custom post type to make it easy for them to post testimonials. Again, as these are added they automatically appear in the slider on the home page. The focus was to minimise the administration of the website, so that admins can focus on other tasks such as creating news posts.

With the Physio-Vet blog we have integrated a social poster which allows all news posts to be automatically added to Facebook and Twitter on publication. This minimises marketing tasks. It’s possible with the same plugin to post to all of the most popular social media platforms. This is highly beneficial for SEO since each time it posts to a social network it creates a high PR backlink to the website. It also means that there is more exposure for the website across medias which in turn pushes traffic towards the website.
