Caring For Care

Caring for Care is a training web design for practicing health care professionals who need training or annual certification. The training web design offers a large variety of courses from clinical to first aid, fire and food. Built on WordPress using the Grand College theme, this website has been customised for Woocommerce integration and Feefo reviews. The ecommerce aspect of this website will allow users to gain access to online learning courses. It can also be used to sell tickets, book courses and sell physical products like training DVDs.

As part of the development we created the logo for this training web design. It’s important when designing a logo and website that they compliment each other. That is why we have opted to use colours from the logo throughout the web site. The green and purple are often used in the call to action buttons or important information sections. As well as creating the colour logo we made a black and a white version as high resolution vectors to be used on embroidery and print design.

Woocommerce comes with a built in review system but this can only be used on products in the shop. We therefore integrated Feefo which is an independent reviews body. These reviews are now on pages and products, allowing Caring for Care to show their reviews under landing pages and products that they are not selling in Woocommerce. This adds further legitimacy to their product and course reviews since each testimonial is reviewed by Feefo before being approved.

This training web design has a built in blog that they can use for promoting their services, news, or any awards they have won. This was built in to the theme already but required some tweaking to the layout. We also ensured that the permalink structure was focused on optimal SEO and installed all the latest SEO and security plugins.
